This gives us a way to let you know about all the exciting stuff happening at Sticky Monkey Designs! We will let you know about special sales, new products, and special events. Do not worry, we never sell or share our mailing list. Your information is safe with us!! 
 
 

What is your return policy? TOP

 
Since most of our products are custom designed and made to order, we do not except returns. Therefore it is important that you supply us with the exact way you wish your LABEL or WALL ART to look. Thus you need to carefully check your order for details such as the spelling and capitalization. We will make is just like you typed it!
If we goofed and you did not receive what you ordered please let us know!  We will advise you how to return the item in order for us to ship you a replacement. If the item was damaged in transit then we will work with you to make a claim against the shipping company and replace your item.

You can purchase by credit card via our on line shopping cart, cash (for local pick up only), money order, or with a gift certificate.  If paying by money order please contact us prior to ordering. You will need to mail your money order:

How much does shipping cost? TOP

 
For LABELS, WALL ART, and most custom gifts, shipping is a flat fee of $5.00.  All products are shipped via USPS priority mail 2-3 day.
 
If you have ordered a custom bucket, shipping is $8.00. When ordering a bucket along with other items, your shipping cost will be $8.00 total.  Any WALL ART or LABEL orders totaling more than $100.00 will qualify for free shipping. 
 
 Live close by? All of our products are available for local pick in NW Houston.
 

Do I have to pay Sales Tax? TOP

 
Sales tax of 8.25% will be charged to all items shipped within the state of Texas. If we are shipping outside the state of Texas, lucky you! No sales tax.
 

How long will it take to get my order? TOP

 
We try to ship all orders no later than 10 business days after receipt of order and payment.  At peak times (such as the weeks leading up to the start of the school year or the holiday season), it may take up to 14 business days to ship your order. These processing and manufacturing times are in addition to the actual time carriers take to deliver your product.
 
When we expect the actual shipping time to be greater than 10 days, we will advise you ahead of time.
 
 

Are the LABELS or WALL ART reusable? TOP

Nope, it is a one time deal folks. The vinyl is very thin, and it tends to stretch when you try to remove it.


What colors can I pick from for my LABELS and WALL ART? TOP

We have many different colors available! If you would like a sample piece to color match, not a problem!  We will be happy to send you up to 5 color samples for just $3.00. Samples will be a 2x2 inch square. Please see our color chart to make your selection.

WALL ART material is different from LABEL material.  WALL ART is made from a semi permanent matte vinyl. Matte means it is not glossy, but flat.  The LABELS are made from a permanent adhesive glossy vinyl.  This means that it is very shinny.   All colors on the color chart are available for WALL ART, only select colors can be used for LABELS.


Where can I stick my labels? TOP

Anywhere you can imagine!! Bottles, sippy cups, pacifiers, diaper wipe boxes, sports equipment, iPods, cell phones, lunch kits, thermoses, school supplies, CDs, DVDs, toys, plastic food containers, dog food bowls, golf clubs, handheld games, party favors, organizational containers, motorcycles, automobiles, business store fronts, and many more

How do I care for my labels? TOP

Our LABELS are dishwasher safe.  My son has some that have lasted well over a year! LABELS will hold up best using a normal setting on the dishwasher and a normal dry setting. High temperature wash/dry settings may cause the adhesive bond to break down a little faster than normal.  Our LABELS are NOT to be used in the microwave. Also, our LABELS will not fade.  Follow these simple instructions, and your LABELS will have a long happy life!

Once you have applied your LABEL to an item it needs to sit (remain undisturbed) for 24 hours before you use the item you labeled.  Do not wash the LABELS in the first 24 hours after you have applied them.


If I order WALL ART, can I see what it will look like before you send it? TOP

 
Yes, not a problem! For $5.00 for a proof can be sent via e-mail. For all orders over $100.00, your proof is free.  The proof fee will be subtracted from your final total.  Please e-mail us to request a proof.
 

What will my WALL ART look like when it comes in the mail? TOP

 
The WALL ART is very thin.... about the same as 2-3 coats of paint, so it gives you the look of hand-painting without the time and trouble.  The WALL ART has a matte finish. In most cases, your Wall Art will arrive in one long piece. You can cut the sheet however you choose. You can cut/separate the various words or images, and make your own design by applying them as you wish.  Use your imagination, it is good for you!
 

Can I apply WALL ART myself, and how long will it take? TOP

 
This all depends on you, but there is no reason why not! Depending on the size of the artwork and the actual application, the process should take no more than 20 minutes,  and a little patience. Very large designs may take a bit longer and in this case it may be advisable to cut them into smaller sections before applying.
 
With certain orders we will be happy to include a few practice letters. We want this to be a pleasant and fun experience for you! Feel free to call us with any questions or concerns you have while installing your wall art. We are available to you during normal business hours. Please refer to our 'how to' page for other information and tips.
 

Is the WALL ART removable? TOP

 
Yes, it sure is!  Our WALL ART is especially great for both renters and college students living in a dorm.  Removing the WALL ART is very easy to do. Simply grab the corner of each letter or image using your fingernail or tweezers and gently pull the vinyl away from the wall. If the vinyl has been in place for a long period of time or you are experiencing some resistance, simply use a hair dryer to loosen up the adhesive.
 

What kind of surfaces can I put my WALL ART on? TOP

 
Our WALL ART sticks to almost any smooth or lightly textured surfaces. It works great on painted walls, glass, mirrors, and smooth metal and wood. It will not stick to rough or uneven surfaces like cinder block, brick, porous aluminum, or stucco surfaces. If you want to put WALL ART on a high gloss painted wall, be sure to read the special application instructions.  Have you recently painted your walls? You will need to wait at least 2-3 weeks before you can apply your WALL ART.
 

Can I put my WALL ART in a bathroom? TOP

 
Sure, just wait a bit after someone has taken a hot shower to ensure that there is no residual moisture on the surface where you intend to apply the WALL ART.  The WALL ART can withstand the humidity in a bathroom, but the walls MUST be totally dry when installing. WALL ART can be applied to the walls, tiles, cabinets, shower doors, mirrors, and even the potty!
 

I have an idea for WALL ART or LABELS, and I do not see it on the website? TOP

Yes, we do custom orders! For WALL ART, there is a $25 design fee. This includes 2 different proofs of your design, and 3 additional changes to your design.  If you would like an onsite consultation, the price is $30.00 for a one hour.  Consultations includes measuring and on site design layout.  If the total of your custom design purchase is over $200.00 all design fee will be waved.
